A few weeks ago, I spent an autumnal weekend at Wigwam Holidays Forcett Grange in one of 12 glamping lodges with my wife and dog. Located roughly half way between Darlington and Barnard Castle, just above the A66, the lodges are set within an old historic quarry teaming with wildlife. We saw plenty of rabbits and squirrels though our dog Chester kept thinking they wanted to play with him! The tranquility and peacefulness of Wigwam Holidays Forcett Grange is absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
It’s been almost three years now since our travels in Australia were cut short (here’s why!) but it wasn’t all bad news. It meant that we were able to spend a few months travelling through South East Asia with Bangkok being our final stop before returning to the delights of a post-Brexit United Kingdom. After much research, I finally settled on staying 6 nights at the Akara Hotel in Bangkok before our final night was spent at the Tower Club at Lebua (the one from Hangover II).
