A Photo Walk Through Venice

DSC_0284.jpg

On a trip to Croatia a few years ago, I was able to get across to Venice for a day. There wasn’t much time to sample all of Venice’s delights but there was enough to wander through its little streets and over the many canals.  I’ll take you on a photo walk through Venice but with photos from my old camera, a Nikon D5000 and a 35mm f/1.8 lens.

“An orange gem resting on a blue glass plate: it’s Venice seen from above.” Henry James

“To build a city where it is impossible to build a city is madness in itself, but to build there one of the most elegant and grandest cities is the madness of genius.” Alexander Herzen
