Onwards: Bali, Singapore & Thailand

Well, just like the football, we’re coming home!  As you read this, if everything goes to plan, we’ll be sat on a plane heading to our next destination. Whilst I can’t wait to get home to the UK, we didn’t want to end the trip on a bad note so we’re taking the long way.  So, for the next month and a bit, we’re heading to Ubud and Seminyak in Bali, then Singapore (hello Marina Bay Sands!) followed by Phuket, Chiang Mai and Bangkok in Thailand.  For some reason however, I’m nervous.  Like really nervous.  I think it’s because I’m heading outside of my comfort zone again but I guess that’s the whole point of travelling.  I’ve never been to Asia.I haven’t had time to really research any of the places we’re going, the food might make me really ill and Thailand has some crazy drone rules.  It looks as though you need to register your drone to bring it through customs but you can’t register it until you’re in Thailand.  Three unreturned emails to the aviation body is making me nervous!  Also, to kick this trip off we’ve had to spend $400 on jabs that would normally be completely free back on the NHS!  I miss my country. This does mean that, practically nine months to the day, our Australian adventure is over.  I’m sure we’ll come back again definitely to visit Melbourne but also to finish off exploring those parts we never made it to.  It might not be for a few years but watch this space!Anyway, this is just a quick update to let you know that we’re moving on!  Onwards!ps. our last night in Australia was spent playing pool hence the photo!
