The First Sunday Walk With Evelyn

Due to a combination of post-lockdown malaise, Emma’s pregnancy and the early days of Evelyn’s life, it’s been a long time since we’ve been for a long family walk together. That all changed recently when we managed a first Sunday walk with Evelyn at just eight weeks old.

Using a physical map, we plotted a route across public footpaths and set out for what turned out to be a steep 3 mile walk. This photo diary captures these precious first moments of Evelyn’s life. These kind of walks makes me realise how much I love living where I do; just south of Durham and you’re straight into beautiful countryside.

The photos were captured with the (new to me) old Fujifilm 23mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.2. The colours are provided by recipes for Ektar 100 and Pro 400H on Fujixweekly. The one black and white photo is the lovely ‘Acros Punch’ recipe.
