When you think of street art, like really high quality art, you’ll almost certainly think of Melbourne. Street art is so entwined into Melbourne’s culture that nearly every alleyway and brick wall is covered in artwork. I don’t like the graffiti name tags (which you’ll still find) but the majority of street art you’ll find in Melbourne truly spectacular. The best street art in Melbourne is that which surprises you. One minute you’re sat staring out the window on a train, then BAM, there’s a huge image of Kanye West in bed with Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian.I’ve put together a collection of my favourite artworks which should inspire you to search them out if you happen to be visiting the world’s most liveable city. I haven’t given too much detail on the locations as I didn’t want to take the fun part out; exploring suburbs on foot and stumbling upon some of the best street art in Melbourne. If you do want anymore information on the locations, let me know and I’ll give you some clues.

Cheers for looking and I hope you’ve enjoyed these as much as I have.
Melbourne is one of my favourite cities for street art, coffee and shopping. We were just there about two weeks ago. Like you, I took tons of street art photos. However, looking at yours I seriously regret not having visited Richmond. The one of the two of them on the weapons is priceless.
It’s such a great city! We lived there for three months so did a huge amount of exploring! It took me about two attempts to find it but I was so happy when I did it’s brilliant
