Unless you’ve visited Thailand before or dreaming of visiting, you might not have heard of Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai is often referred to as the ‘Rose of the North’ and is heaven for food lovers, temple lovers and even those that love shopping! Whilst I’ll go into detail as to what exactly you should be doing in another post, I’ll let the photography do the talking here. So I’ve put together 24 photos to inspire you to visit Chiang Mai!
It only took a few hours in Chiang Mai for me to fall completely in love. From the golden topped temples to the countless bowls of khao soi (here’s everywhere you need to eat), everything about this place will have you wanting to return. You can even look after elephants for a day at nearby ethical sanctuaries. If you haven’t been to Thailand before, hopefully these photos will have you putting Chiang Mai straight on your list.
I’ve tried hard to narrow down hundreds of photos of Chiang Mai to just 24! I could have put every single photo in this post! If you’re thinking about travelling to Chiang Mai and would like any recommendations, feel free to get in touch. All of these photos were taken with the Fujifilm X-T2 and are JPEGs practically straight from the camera.
