The Monochrome Cities: Manchester

It’s taken well over 12 months but I’m finally able to share the next collection of images in my Monochrome Cities series. With the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions, I was able to visit Manchester for the first time in almost six years and I found it lent itself to shooting solely in black and white. Manchester is a city full of colour, full of Victorian red brick buildings but when you strip that back you’ll find that the city’s soul still stands out.

Anyway, in this series, I let the pictures do the talking and so hopefully you’ll enjoy these as much as I do. For those who are interested in finding out exactly how to shoot images like this straight from your camera, check out my post on the Fujifilm Acros film simulation here and peek inside my camera bag here.

If you liked ‘The Monochrome Cities: Manchester’ why not pin the images below?
