My 365 Photography Challenge

Back in 2016, to introduce myself to the Fujifilm X-T2 camera, I attempted the 365 photography challenge. Now in 2023, it’s time to go again!

I’ve literally just written a post saying how 2023 has to be more of a creative year. Well, I’ve just been heavily influenced to, for the second time, attempt the 365 photography challenge. I did this back in 2016 when I first bought my Fujifilm X-T2. It was such a great way to get to grips with the camera and improve my photography.

Things are a little different in 2023. I feel confident enough in my photography but, with working from home in a stressful job, there are limited opportunities for creativity so last year I could go weeks without touching my camera. Not this year though, I have committed through sharing this post to taking and sharing one photo each and every day of the year. I have no idea what I’ll be taking photos of but this is something to keep me on track for a creative year! I’m not setting any hard and fast rules either so there’ll be a bit of everything I’m sure. Everything will however be taken with the Fujifilm X-T5!

In terms of colours, for those either new to my blog or if you just want to know more, all will be pretty much straight out of the camera. Amazing what the Fujifilm sensor can do isn’t it?! The main settings I’m using at the moment are Classic Negative, Nostalgic Negative and Acros. I’ve linked the separate pages if you want to read a little more.

I’ll keep this post updated, hopefully, each and every day with the photos. So, if you’re interested, bookmark this page and we’ll take this journey together.

HEY, IF YOU’RE STILL READING THIS – I JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT FORTUNATELY (YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT!) I FAILED THE 365 PHOTOGRAPHY ENTIRELY AND YOU CAN READ ABOUT IT ALL HERE.

  1. I think it’ll be pretty cool seeing this at the end of the year! Hopefully with 365 photos! 😉
Either way, I love seeing your photos so hopefully it’ll feature a few more than the current two I can see haha.
