On The Streets: Benidorm

Benidorm has a reputation that precedes it but, having spent three nights in the city exploring the alternative side, I’m pleased to say that it’s a destination that offers so much. This collection of photos aims to show all sides of Benidorm!

In May 2025, I visited Benidorm in Spain working with Jet2Holidays and the Visit Benidorm tourist board. I think it’s fair to say that Benidorm’s reputation precedes it but what I found was a delightfully charming Old Town, unique architecture, rugged coastlines, crystal clear waters and a food scene as good as anywhere.

Of course, being Benidorm, there is another side to all of that; the New Town area is almost exactly as you can imagine though it can be fun in small doses. I spent a few free mornings and afternoons wandering the streets of Benidorm with my camera and this post is the result; a collection of most of my images taken spending just three nights in the city.

Ok, now it’s time for a virtual wander around the streets of Benidorm. This is my take on street photography in Benidorm.

THE DETAILS

I took four lenses with me on my trip to Benidorm; the Fujifilm 18mm f/1.4, Fujifilm 35mm f/1.4, Fujifilm 18-55mm f/2.8-4 and the Fujifilm 50-140mm f/2.8. All of these were combined with the Fujifilm X-T5 as always.

In terms of the colours, these are all JPEGs using my Classic Negative recipe.
